Tried Haute Dolci for the first time today and will definitely be coming back here! The pistachio menu is definitely worth trying and the waiters were very good, Imtiaz looked after us very well.

I visited this branch for dessert for the first time, having been to the Liverpool location, which I’ve found to have much better service and a more welcoming atmosphere.
When I arrived, there was no one at the till, so I stepped slightly further in to see if someone was available. A waiter, who was taking an order at another table, firmly told me to “please wait for five minutes.” I completely understand that he was busy, but the tone felt a bit abrupt. His expression also seemed uncomfortable or unwelcoming, which didn’t create the best first impression.
I waited in the designated area, and when he came over, he simply asked, “YES PLEASE?” I requested a table for one, and although the café wasn’t full, he initially seated me near a family. I asked if I could move to another table for more privacy, and he did accommodate my request.
After being seated at 2:00, my order wasn’t taken until 2:15. When I asked for his recommendation on a waffle, his response was, “If you need more time, I’ll go and come back,” which felt a little dismissive rather than helpful.
I do understand that he was serving alone, which is never easy, but his attitude, along with his unwelcoming demeanor, made the experience less enjoyable.
The two stars in my review are for the waffle, which was really good, and the ambiance, which was excellent. However, I had to take off two stars due to the staff’s attitude and lack of warmth in their service. Also, while the waffle was tasty, £12 felt a bit expensive for what it was so I took off another star. Hopefully, this was just an off day.
